INFO: Ninho Bermudes Nascimento (Juan Luís Bermudes Nascimento), who played in the 1920s and 1930s, was known for his versatility and for being a player of grit and total commitment on the field. He mainly played as a defender and midfielder.

Ninho was responsible for orchestrating the team's play, possessing excellent ball control, short and precise passing, and being a good tackler. It was in the first Atle-Tiba derby in history that he definitively etched his name in the club's history. Besides scoring the first goal of the classic match, he scored three more in the 6-3 victory over their rivals. It was June 8, 1924. To this day, he remains the player who has scored the most goals in Atle-Tiba derbies, playing 102 matches and scoring 16 goals.

The main characteristics of his playing style included:

Versatility: Ability to play in different positions, mainly in defense and midfield.

Determination and Willpower: He was a player who stood out for his combativeness and dedication in every play, fighting for every ball.

Leadership and Patriotism: His attitude on the field and his choices off it (such as refusing an offer to play in Germany out of love for Coritiba and Brazil) demonstrated a great attachment to his country and club, suggesting a profile of leadership and commitment.

Ninho was an important player for Coritiba at the time, being a two-time state champion (1927 and 1933) and a key member of the Paraná state team that was runner-up in the Brazilian championship in 1928.
