INFO: He played for Paulistano from 1921 to 1927. Thirty years before Canhoteiro controlled the ball with the tip of his boot, Netinho was already doing that move for Paulistano. He played on both wings, mainly on the left, with a fast, goal-scoring style of football, excellent crosses, and a powerful shot with both feet. He competed for the position with quality players such as Formiga, Filó, and Zuanella. He was a Paulista champion in 1921 and 1926/27. He had great performances in Paulistano's victorious tour of Europe in 1925.
