INFO: He played for Paulistano from 1921 to 1929 and for São Paulo da Floresta in 1930. He had a long career at Ypiranga from 1912 to 1920, with stints at the São Paulo and Brazilian national teams (playing his first ever match in 1914). He played on both wings, especially the right, with great speed, a vast repertoire of dribbles, and precise crosses. When he arrived at the best team in Brazil, he was already considered the great right winger of the time. He brilliantly won the 1922 South American Championship, scoring two goals in the 3-0 victory against Paraguay in the final, with Neco scoring the other. At Paulistano, he was São Paulo state champion in 1921, 1926/27, and 1929. He even alternated with Filó, who considered him his master, often playing in different positions, since having both on the field guaranteed a better spectacle. He played only four matches for São Paulo da Floresta in 1930.
