Spoiler: show
He played on the Ponte Preta from 1971 to 1979. His eight years as a club prove that he was very impressive at Ponte Preta. High-speed player, skillful left hand Tuta was gradually getting a place on the team, which also had other good players; such as Adilton, Dito Flecha, Manfrini, Pedro Paulo and Serginho.
His great moment for the "Macaca" happened under the command of the technician Zé Duarte, in the famous campaign of the São Paulo championship of 1977. Willing to work, Tuta started to intensify the cross ball foundation, and the workouts had effect. He calculated the ball well in either the first or second.
Uncorrectable difficulty was closing to the opponent's goal. He scored few career goals. Despite this, countless center-players enjoyed the plays he created to reach the goal.
Injuries afterwards rob him of the possibility of continuing in the 'fight' for the position, after a few years, ended his career.
