INFO: Dicá had as main characteristics millimeter throws, accurate passes and a very strong kick, in addition to being an excellent foul collector, considered the brains of the team. It was a real 10 shirt.
Near miss of the great area was the same as doom announced for its opponents. Dicá was able to decide the game in a single bid with his surgical right leg.
He was a real expert when it came to standing up!
But this almost perfection in the standing balls was not his only differential. A player of rare skill and perfect throws, Dicá was an authentic articulator in the maneuvers of half-court.
He is considered the best player in the history of Ponte Preta, being the top scorer in his history, with 154 goals. Despite this, he was never even summoned to the Brazilian national team. He started on the black bridge in 1966 and played until 1971, then played for Santos, alongside Pelé, but without the same success, then went to Portuguesa and played from 1972 to 1976, played in 164 games with 37 goals, 1976 returned to black bridge where he played until 1984 thus ending his career.
