INFO: Jorge Carlos Carneiro better known as Ortunho was a defender who scored the season in Gremio, being included in the fanatic walk of fame. the former left-back of the Basque and the club won the nickname for Uruguayan Washington Ortuño, a Peñarol player and Uruguayan national team champion in 1950.
He started in Nacional and in Force and Light, being sold to Vasco da Gama, where he was a two-time state champion. However, it was in Grêmio, in the company of Foguinho and Carlos Froner that it became more recognized, with a series of gaucho championships. After, it passed through two other teams: Metropol and Cruzeiro-RS, besides a brief passage in the Brazilian selection in 1960.
