INFO: Juarez,a player of great physical strength and technical, began his career for Blumenau Esporte Clube, shortly after a passage through the team of the barracks, where he learned to like football. Soon it caught the attention of another club of the same city, the Olympic Sports Grêmio, where it played in 1949, conquering the first Catarinense Championship of the history of the club. Then he left for the city of Santos to defend the Jabaquara Athletic Club. After three seasons, he was hired by Ferroviário de Curitiba, where he was the top scorer and champion of the state in the year of the centennial of Paraná. In 1954 he returned to Santa Catarina, where he won the state championship for Caxias Futebol Clube, defeating the Tubarão Railroad 7-0 in the final.
In 1955, it aroused the interest of the then Grêmio coach of Porto Alegrense, Foguinho, being hired by the club. In the tricolor, he won his greatest titles, being one of the greatest scorers in the history of the club and one of the great idols of the years of 1950 and 1960, he is among the 10 top scorers of the tricolor gaucho with 202 goals.
In 1956, he was called for the first time to the Brazilian National Team, where he played the Pan-American Championship, playing against the Chilean Soccer Team, the Mexican Soccer Team and the Peruvian Soccer Team.
In 1961, he was sold to Newell's Old Boys Club of Argentina, where he remained until 1965, and after the contract ended, he returned to Rio Grande do Sul where he defended his last club, the Grêmio Esportivo Bagé, retiring in the same year.
