INFO:Husain Ali is a former centre forward. He spent the majority of his career at Al-Muharraq, where he played from 1998 to 2004 and from 2008 to 2014. He played also for Al-Shabab Manama, and in Qatar for Al-Rayyan, Al-Gharafa, and Umm-Salal. He retired in 2018. He capped for Bahrain 116 times, scoring 33 goals.
One of the most prominent players in Bahrain's history, Ali was distinguished for his skill on the ball, high morals, and leadership qualities. He was nicknamed "Husain Pele" for his quickness in reaching the opposition goal, his high physical fitness, and the fact that he was a permanent threat in the attack. Ali possessed good technical skills, the ability to dribble his opponents and keep the ball. He was a good finisher, mostly with the right foot, and could score from free kick too.
