INFO:Farah is a former attacking midfielder who possibly played also as central or defensive midfielder. His career started in 1967 at Feisal FC. He then played for Leeds United in 1968. He finally signed for Liverpool FC (later known as Mwenge FC) from 1969 to at least the late 1970s. He represented Kenya since 1968 but his number of caps is not known. He scored at least 2 goals for his national team, both in 1971, and he participated to the 1972 Africa Cup of Nations.
Although he's considered to be one of the best attacking midfielder to ever play for Kenya, Farah is described as a talented anchor midfielder by other sources. He was known for having the typical qualities of coastal African players: high technique, smooth movements, excellent ball control and focus on short passing. He was slim, agile, stylish, tactful and with quick footwork. According to other Kenya former players such as David Okello and Nelson Ogola Otieno, Farah was outstanding in playing the ball and spectacular from dead ball situations.
