INFO:Ziroli was a winger and inside forward, later left back or left wing-half. midfielder and defender. He had as striker his best seasons at Venezia in 1928-29 and Lazio in 1929-30, scoring respectively 10 goals in 18 matches and 11 in 31. Instead, he had as defender his best time at Palermo, making 194 appearances from 1931 to 1940, scoring 9 goals. He played also for Roma, becoming the first to ever play for Lazio after having played for the
Giallorossi. He retired in 1941.
Ziroli was acclaimed by Lazio and Palermo fans thanks to his consistent determination. He was always one of the best players in every match. As winger he was fast, dynamic, accurate with both feet, gifted with a powerful and sharp touch. Whilst he could score very difficult goals though he failed the easiest ones. Very impetuous, he was accidental unfair player due to his aggressiveness that sometimes cost him red cards. However, the fact that he was often pardoned by the referees earned him the nickname "the unpunished". When he played as a defender, he took advantage of his toughness to improve his attitude, relying in lots of strength and determination but becoming one of the fairest players. He wasn't tall but his strong physique allowed him to face the most fearsome opponents.
