INFO:Pichai is a former centre forward. He spent the majority of his career at Bangkok Bank during the 1970s and 1980s, winning numerous national cups. Member of Thailand national team since 1976, he was part of the squad that won the 1985 Southeast Asian Games. The same year, he was included in the AFC All Star team and had the chance to play in Japan, when he joined Japanese Soccer League Division 2 team Teijin SC.
Inspired by German legend Klaus Fischer, Pichai was a threat inside the box thanks to an excellent heading ability. One of the key players of Thai attack during the 1980s, he earned the nickname "Head radar" for the fact that whenever a cross came to the box, his head always hit the ball. Also, he possessed good pace and he never held back from using his mouth to protest during a match when he thought that something was wrong.
