Al-Enazi is a former centre forward. He spent the majority of his career at Al-Rayyan from 1993 to 2000 ─ excluding loans at Emirati team Al-Nasr in 1997-98 and Kuwaiti team Al-Qadsia in 1998-99 ─ making 92 appearances and scoring 59 goals, being the Qatar Stars League top scorer in 1994-95 and 1999-00. He came back to United Arab Emirates in 2000 to play for Al-Wahda ─ he played 3 games for Turkish team Yimpaş Yozgatspor at the beginning of the season ─ scoring 49 goals in 59 matches in four years, being back-to-back top scorer of the UAE Pro League between 2000 and 2002 with 22 goals per season. He retired in 2009 after more experiences in the Emirates at Al-Jazira, Al-Wasl and again Al-Nasr. In 1999 he had a trial with Bayern München and soon after he had two with West Ham United. He capped 57 times for Qatar, scoring 32 goals and becoming top scorer of the 1996 Gulf Cup, where Qatar ended 2nd placed. He also capped twice for United Arab Emirates in 2009.
A prolific and consistent striker, Al-Enazi was particularly renowned for his tall and strong physique that frightened defenders and goalkeepers. Also gifted with good technical qualities, possessed a powerful shot, remarkable dribbling and ball control, decent passing ability, was accurate with both feet and his shots had good power. He could score from difficult positions or in acrobatic ways but it's inside the box where he was mostly fearsome. He was a bit slow but he was very good at being in the right spot at the right time, waiting to receive the ball or taking advantage of a mistake made by the opposing defence. Highly effective in the air, he was an excellent header, who used his height and positional sense in combination with a good leap for a man of his size.
