INFO:
Almoez Ali is a centre forward or winger. His career began in 2015 in Austria at LASK. On January 2016, he transferred to Cultural Leonesa in Segunda División, scoring once and becoming the first ever Qatari player to score in a Spanish league. He's been playing for Al-Duhail since 2016 and has scored and assisted 44 times in 150 matches so far. He gained 80 caps and scored 39 goals for Qatar so far, winning the 2019 AFC Asian Cup and being included in the Team of the Tournament as top scorer and best player of the competition. He was also named as part of the AFC Men's Team of the Decade 2011-2020 by IFFHS.
One of the best Qatari players in recent years, Ali is a prolific striker, gifted with great quickness, excellent ball control, dribbling and shot technique. He's right-footed but can use the left foot equally well and more or less with the same frequency either for passing the ball or shooting. He's not a static forward and often moves to the midfield and occasionally even near his own area to help regaining possession of the ball or to set up the offense before rushing towards the goal at high speed. Very able on the lines, he can beat the opposing defence by sprinting on the offside line and receive a short pass to tap the ball in or a cross to hit a header. He's not the kind of player who does a lot throughout the whole match but rather makes the most of crucial moments, showing undeniable accuracy and efficiency in front of the goal.
