Georges was a full-back and half-back. He played for Racing Club Beirut during the 1960s, winning the national Premier League in 1964-65 and 1969-70. He eventually retired in 1975. He capped for Lebanon at least 12 or 13 times between 1962 and 1966, possibly scoring 4 goals. Considered one of the most prominent players in Lebanon's history, Georges was an example of high morals as well as great understanding with his teammates. He possessed solid technique in the center of the defence and the skill to take the ball from any striker with intelligence and quickness. Yet, he was fair and didn't depend on roughness. He was also effective in clearing high crosses with his head and distributing the ball with long pinpoint passes, taking advantage of his shooting power.
