INFO:Mardik was a centre or inside forward. He spent his entire career at Homenmen throughout the 1950s and 1960s, winning three times the Lebanese Premier League, the third of which as top scorer with 15 goals in 1961. He gained at least 10 caps for Lebanon, scoring not less than 10 goals. One of the most legendary players in Lebanon football history, Mardik was a prolific scorer and smart dribbler. His most memorable match, that took place in 1956, is his international debut in a 4-1 loss against Hungary, where he scored the only goal for Lebanon after an individual effort, dribbling several players before beating the goalkeeper. He was then praised with admiration for his high technical qualities by none other than Ferenc Puskás, who stated that Mardik would've easily been able to play in Europe. The episode earned him the nickname "Lebanese Puskás".
