INFO:Chatila was a goalkeeper. He played in several clubs in Lebanon but spent the majority of his career at Nejmeh, where he played in the 1950s and 1970s. He showed great longevity since he retired in 1974, when he was 43. He capped at least 10 times for Lebanon throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Regarded as one of the finest goalkeepers in Lebanon history, Chetila was known as the "flying guard". A very capable and reliable n°1 for every club he played in as well as for the national team, he was praised for goalkeeping skills and quick reaction to block shots and rejecting them with grace and quickness as well as good timing of anticipation and ability when coming out of the goal despite his very short size. Among his international matches, the most memorable ones took place in 1955 against Bulgaria and 1956 against legendary Hungary, lost respectively 3-2 and 4-1.
