INFO:Taha is a former central midfielder. He spent his entire career at Al Ansar from 1986 to 2002, winning numerous trophies including eleven Lebanese Premier Leagues in a row ─ the only player in the world to achieve that ─ and nine Lebanese FA Cups. He gained 71 caps Lebanon, scoring 12 goals and captaining the team at the 2000 AFC Asian Cup.
One of the most popular players among Lebanon fans and regarded as one of the most prominent midfielders in the history of Al Ansar and Lebanon, Taha took inspiration from Argentinian legend Diego Maradona. He was the heart of his team, comfortable in the middle of the field, quite tall but distinguished for his agility and constant movements up and down the flank or from one side to the other. He possessed a generally good vision of the game and the tendency to trouble the opposing defence before scoring or providing an assist. He recalled in an interview his two most memorable goals, one being in his first ever match against Nejmeh in 1987, the other being an overhead kick against Saudi team Al-Safa during the 1991 Asian Club Championship.
