INFO:Ghazarian is a former centre forward. His career began in 1989, playing for Spartak Hoktemberyan and Syunik Kapan in his native Soviet Armenia. He transferred to Lebanon in 1992, obtaining the Lebanese citizenship two years later. He played for Homenetmen Beirut from 1992 to 1999 and from 2002 to 2005, for Sagesse from 1999 to 2002 and from 2005 to 2009, when he retired. The second all-time scorer in the Lebanese Premier League's history, Ghazarian scored 117 official league goals, most of them with Homenetmen Beiruts. He capped for Lebanon 66 times, scoring 21 goals (some sources report 39 or 42 matches and 19 or 20 goals).
One of the most prolific ever Lebanese strikers, Ghazarian was never considered an ordinary player. He was quite tall, not too quick when turning, but gifted with good technique, fine speed when he had space, remarkable eye for goal and a neat touch of the ball with either foot. The fans enjoyed his performances, and even those of the opposition's team used to applaude him for what he showed in the field. It's said that his value corresponded to half of his team's total value and whenever he was absent for a match, it was a blessing for the opponents. He could beat any goalie one-on-one (the level of Lebanese goalkeepers was quite embarassing) or with sudden shots out of nowhere, shooting the ball first time, with lobs or headers to corners impossible for the goalkeeper to reach. HE was also a decent free kick taker. However, he wasn't just a scorer. In fact, despite playing as centre forward, he was also a playmaker and silent leader who worked harder than the rest of the team. He trained with more seriousness than anyone else and his coaches used to say that he did so with professionalism. While he always wore the jersey n°14 with Homenetmen and Sagesse, his jersey with the Lebanon national team was sometimes the n°10.
