INFO:Tubuna was a centre back or defensive midfielder. He spent his career at Ba F.C., with which he won the Inter-district Championship six years in a row from 1975 to 1980, a record at the time. Unfortunately, he tragically died in a car accident in the early days of August 1984. He represented Fiji Islands numerous times.
His tragic early passing may have increased the consideration towards Tubuna. Nonetheless, he's widely regarded as the greatest player in Fiji history. At his time, he was in a league of his own due to his style of play, versatility, leadership and vision, the latter of which allowed him to set up goals for his forwards. He was a formidable defender, but in addition to his solid defensive qualities, he was brilliant in the attack when needed. He was dynamic, tactically intelligent, capable to improve the performance of younger players thanks to his mastery of the game. He was seen as a star of all stars, and he terrorised the opposing players with his abilities.
