INFO:Kabakoro is a former central or attacking midfielder. He spent his career at Suva F.C., playing there mostly during the 1980s. He played a major role in Suva's 1981 Inter-District Championship win, ending Ba's historic six-years streak of consecutive wins. An international player, he capped for Fiji in numerous occasions and was the main protagonist in the historic 2-0 win against New Zealand in 1983 as he scored both goals of the match.
A talented and sensational midfielder, Kabakoro possessed great personality and was class of his own. He was a skillful workhorse, gifted with coordination, creativity, a keen eye for playing the ball forward and set up goals for his teammates. His likely most memorable moment came in the 1981 Inter-District Championship final match against Ba F.C. when he set-up captain Jone Ratu's bicycle kick goal with an accurate cross.
