Krishna is a centre forward, capable of playing as winger. His career began in 2006 in his native country Fiji at Labasa. Two years later, he transferred to New Zealand, playing for Waitakere United, making 103 appearances and scoring 72 goals from 2008 to 2013. After a short and underwhelming spell at Auckland City, he joined Wellington Phoenix, where he scored 52 goals in 125 matches from 2014 to 2019. He eventually transferred to India, playing for ATK, then Mohun Bagan, and signed for Bengaluru in 2022. He capped for Fiji 57 times so far, scoring 41 goals. He's both the most capped and the top even scorer of his national team, which he captained in many occasions.
Surely the best Fijian player in recent history and one of the best the country has ever produced, Krishna has distinguished himself for his remarkable scoring ability that enabled him to be prolific in country like New Zealand and India where the level is supposedly higher then in the Fiji Islands. He usually places the ball accurately, although he sometimes scored with more powerful shots from the edge of the area. Other than scoring sense, he's gifted with opportunism, instinct, dribbling, acceleration, tenacity, good vision of the game, creativity, a decent heading ability, and an effective offensive style of play. Furthermore, he scored numerous penalties.
