INFO:Masi is a former centre forward. His career began in 1994 at Ba F.C. in his native country Fiji. He transferred to Australia in 1996, playing for Gippsland Falcons. He then had his best time at Wollongong Wolves from 1997 to 2000 and Newcastle Jets from 2000 to 2004, scoring respectively 19 and 18 goals. After more seasons in Australian lower leagues and short spells in Malaysia and Fiji, he retired in 2011. He capped for Fiji 52 times, scoring 32 goals, and was captain of the national team numerous times.
One of the best finishers in Fiji history, Masi was distinguished for his classy touches, the knack to take on defenders at will, and the instinct that enabled him to score at every available opportunity. He was quite good in the air, mostly thanks to a remarkable elevation. He took advantage of his strong physique to keep the ball and dribble his opponents since he lacked of pace, and his ball control wasn't always optimal. Nonetheless, he was considered Fijian number one striker in his prime and the kind of footballer everyone enjoyed watching in the field.
