INFO:Kabashi was a centre back. His career started in the early 1970s at Al-Ahrah Omdurman. He joined Al-Amel in 1975 and Al-Hilal Omdurman in 1978. He became a legend of Al-Hilal thanks to numerous wonderful performances like one against Zamalek in 1978 in his first international match, one against Algeria, and a 1981 friendly between Sudan and Liverpool. A mainstay in Sudan national team since joining Al-Hilal, he won the 1980 CECAFA Cup.
Regarded as one of the best defenders in Sudan's history, Kabashi was a tall player with a graceful physique who took the role of leader in the heart of Al-Hilal's defence and played with consistency until his retirement. Kabashi's style of play was different from the rest of the defenders as he didn't rely on strength but only fairness. In fact, he possessed calmness, solid game reading ability, good anticipation and timing for winning the ball. Moreover, he could build the attack from the back with creativity. He did everything with plenty of confidence but never with recklessness.
