Musabah is a former goalkeeper. He spent his entire career at Sharjah in his native country, making 678 appearances from 1984 to 2002. He capped for the United Arab Emirates 107 times, taking part to the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Considered the greatest goalkeeper the United Arab Emirates have ever produced, Musabah for his jumping ability, reflexes, commitment and constant training. Usually a trustworthy keeper, he was good at saving shots with his body and limbs. He could reject powerful shots and block tricky ones. He used to often come off his goal to collect a cross or push it away. On the other hand, he sometimes misdjudged the situation, leaving the goal and then having troubles at covering it, resulting in easy goals for his opponents.
