INFO:Bakheet is a former right-winger who could also play as secondary striker, centre forward and attacking midfielder. He spent his entire career at Al Wasl where he played from 1986 to 2004. He capped for the United Arab Emirates 112 times, scoring 27 goals. He took part to the 1990 FIFA World Cup even though he only came in as substitute in the second half of the first group match against Colombia.
Arguably one of the best players in the history of the Emirates, Bakheet was distinguished for his tremendous ability to move through the opposition's half and penetrate the back-line regardless of the strength of the defenders. He used his speed and dazzling ball control, moving in a cunning way like an arrow in small yards and tight spaces. Then he would stop suddenly and change direction quickly to deceive the defenders. He was compared to a gazelle for his agility, a leopard for his running ability, and a lion for his leap. In addition, he possessed great shooting technique and terrific power, especially in his right foot.
