Mabkhout is a centre forward who can also play as a winger. Starting his career in 2008, he has spent all of it at Al Jazira, scoring 287 goals in 413 appearances so far. He's the top scorer in the history of the Emirati league. He capped for the United Arab Emirates 109 times, scoring 81 goals and he's the national team's top ever scorer.
One of the greatest strikers in the Emirati history and the most prolific ever in both Emirati league and national team, Mabkhout has distinguished himself for unmatched attacking qualities, outstanding scoring skill and ability to penetrate the defense with ease. Flawless inside the box, he has solid strength and can score in any possible way: first time, one-on-one, after dribbling the goalkeeper, with headers, tap-ins or lobs. But he's also quite mobile as he often plays outside the box, making great runs from midfield or a wide position towards the goal, sometimes delivering long range shots with tremendous power. He's mostly right-footed but he doesn't mind scoring with the left from time to time. Excellent also from set piece, he scored nearly 10 free kicks and over 60 penalties in his career so far. In addition, he's not only an amazing scorer but also a solid creator as he has provided more than 80 assists with Al Jazira so far.
