INFO:Mohamed is a former defensive midfielder, sweeper and centre back who could also play as central midfielder. He spent his entire career at Al Nasr where he played from the early 1980s to the mid 1990s. His number of appearances is unclear. He capped for the United Arab Emirates not less than 25 times and scored at least 2 goals, but other sources report a total 85 international games. He took part to the 1990 FIFA World Cup where he was the team captain.
Considered one of the best midfielder in the Emirates' history, Mohamed was known for his creativity, class, passing skill and technical qualities that made him a mainstay in the national team for several years. He wasn't notably quick on the ball, though it didn't mind too much given that his main task was to distribute the ball and start the play or deliver long crosses to the forwards. He was also one of the main corner takers of the national team. In addition, he was a fine free kick taker, ability that he used mostly to put the ball in the box for his teammates to score.
