Jumaa is a former defensive or central midfielder. He spent the majority of his career at Al Wahda where he made over 130 appearances and scored around 40 goals. He also played for Al Jazira and Al Dhafra where he retired in 2017. He capped for the United Arab Emirates 116 times, scoring 13 and winning as captain the 2007 Arabian Gulf Cup, the first ever trophy in the Emirati history.
A prominent and influential player during the 2000s, Jumaa was the perfect midfielder when it comes to create balance in midfield. He shone by leading numerous attacks with his remarkable passing and dribbling skill as well as scoring amazing goals due to his tendency to join the offense despite his defensive midfield role. He was a fighter who didn't surrender easily as he possessed a lot of will and determination that allowed him to play at good levels even after injuries that forced him away from the field for extended periods of time.
