INFO:Lehoko is a former centre-back. His career started in 1971 at Vaal Professionals where he made 214 appearances and scored 11 goals. He transferred to Kaizer Chiefs in 1978, playing 238 matches and scoring 25 goals until his retirement in 1985. He represented South Africa at least in 1977 when the national team faced Rhodesia.
Lehoko is considered one of the best defenders in the history of South African football. Nicknamed "Bull" for his tough defensive style of play, he was a powerful, no-nonsense central defender and the stalwart of the back-line. He was the rock in the heart of the defense, distinguished by his fighting attitude, fine tackling ability and intelligent football brain. Despite being a defender, he scored a fair number of goals, most of them probably from set piece as he could be a threat from long range free kicks. Lehoko was forced to retire in 1985 due to a knee injury.
