INFO:Roy is a former right-back. His career started in the late 1960s at Nakuru AllStars. He signed for Bata Bullets in 1970. The same year, he earned his first caps for Kenya, breaking his left hand in a match against Ethiopia in the midst of a pitch invasion by the Ethiopian fans. He played for Kenya until 1975, taking part to the 1972 Africa Cup of Nations. He then continued to play for Bata Bullets before retiring in 1981.
Regarded as one the best right-backs Kenya has ever produced, Roy was a talented player of incredible physical power considering his short size as he was just around five feet tall. Although his position was defender, he was particularly dangerous in attack. He even scored four goals in a 5-1 win against the team Black Mamba in 1975 and nearly ten throughout the entire season.
