INFO:Oh Yoon-kyung is a former left-back. He spent his entre career at August 8 Club during the 1960s and 1970s. A regular starter on the left side of North Korea's defence, he took part to the 1966 FIFA World Cup, missing only the first game. He capped for his national team at least nearly 60 times.
A no-nonsense defender, Oh Yoon-kyung was a fighter who used his strength to take the ball off his opponents, challenging even two of them if necessary and moving between them with the ball. He was always fair though. Against Chile, he was good at marking the forwards on his flank, then carrying the ball forward and passing it. Even better against Italy, he successfully stopped a dangerous winger like Perani. Not only busy in defence, Oh Yoon-kyung liked joining the offense. Against the Chilean team, he would reach the end of the opposition's half to cross with his left-foot. Once, he even attempted to score from the edge of area with the outside of his left, and the ball finished very close to the post. He filled his task at the World Cup perfectly. In the match against Portugal, he did the best he could to mark Eusebio, taking advantage of his solid speed.
