Paci is a former centre forward. A legend of Lucchese, he played for the Rossoneri in 1983-84 and from 1988 to 2000, scoring 137 goals in 375 matches. He played also for Parma, Alessandria, Ancona and Reggiana among other clubs. He retired in 2001.
Highly prolific in minor leagues, Paci was the classic in-box striker, very effective in front of the goal. He wasn't very fast, was gifted with a strong physique and possessed a powerful shot. He was a good header and scored many goals with acrobatic shots. Also able from the penalty spot, he scored around 30 penalties for Lucchese.
