Attack MindedINFO:John van 't Schip was side midfielder or winger on both sides, who could play also as attacking midfielder and occasionally as centre forward. During his time at Genoa he played even as side-back. He spent most his career at Ajax from 1981 to 1992, appearing in 326 matches and scoring 32 goals. Then he transferred to Genoa until his retirement in 1996, playing 119 games and scoring 11 times. He won 41 caps for Netherlands, scoring twice.
A fast and skillful player who was dangerous during attacks, van 't Schip had a good and quick turning ability, ball control, passing and could use well the outside of the foot. Moreover he fought on every ball and also was efficient when defending thanks to good pressing and ball recovering abilities.
