Jarbas Faustinho, better known as Cané, was a right winger and centre forward, who could play also as inside forward. He's a legend of Napoli and arguably one of the best players in the history of the team. He played for the Partenopei from 1962 to 1969 and from 1972 to 1975, for a total of 217 matches and 56 goals. In the middle between the two spells three seasons at Bari, where he was sold against his will.
Cané possessed great ball control with the typical step of the Brazilian players. His shots were sharp, accurate and very powerful. His dribbling was a bit rough but highly effective: he could go past two-three defenders and shoot in goal with ease or gain a penalty due to his clumsy physical challenges. Gifted with great sense of goal, he never wasted any time to try shooting. His dashing acceleration were impressive and a big problem for the opposing defenders. While he was more effective when exchanges short passes on the run with a teammate, his long passes weren't really accurate. He was also an able free kick taker.
