INFO:Bellinelli is a former goalkeeper. He spent the majority of his career at Livorno where he played from 1961 to 1971, making 249 appearances. He also played for Ravenna from 1958 to 1961 and 1971 to 1974. Probably deserving of playing in Serie A during his prime, he never left Livorno and played only in Serie B and C with the
Amaranto.
Considered "the goalkeeper" by Livorno fans, Bellinelli arguably the most memorable keeper in the club's history. He's remembered by Livorno supporters for being a great guardian of the goal. Gifted with great reflexes, he was capable of making incredible leaps, flying from side to side of the goal and saving the ball even when it took difficult trajectories. He was almost unbeatable between the posts as he could also stop powerful long range shots. Furthermore, he was fearless when coming off the goal to stop a striker one-on-one. His place as starter was often alternated with the second goalkeeper but Bellinelli's performances were always of high level.
