Name: William Eckersley Nickname: "Bill", "Telescopic leg" ![]() Country: ![]() Club: Blackburn Rovers F.C. He spent his entire career for Blackburn Rovers, playing 430 matches and scoring 21 goals, 18 of those from penalty. He capped 17 times for England despite he played in Second Division. Eckersley was a quick and strong defender, a relentless tackler, always calm and careful. He constantly kept his eyes on the ball rather than his opponent, not caring much about his movements. He was able to stop even the legendary Stanley Matthews! He wasn't only a good defender. He had good technique and dribbling ability and could go past an opponent thanks to a particular trick: he extended his left leg behind the opponent, cutting through and moving away with the ball − maybe similar to a flip flap. This characteristic made him gain the nickname "Telescopic leg". |

https://footballia.net/matches/england-hungary He was a central defender in a 2 men defense, playing in the left side (that's why he was called a "left back"). And he was absolutely not like you depicted him in this set, just to speak about his ATT, it should be like -15/-20 from the current value. The technical values are way over the top as well. Watch the game. |

Watch the game. Ok, thanks for the suggestions. Watching the first minutes of the match I clearly see his position. I will update the set after I watched the entire match. By the way I honestly don't get why he was described that way in the texts if he had nothing to do with the attack. |

Ok, thanks again. I highly decreased ATT and AGG, decreased in general his technical and shooting stats, increased by a few points his defensive stats and boosted HEA and JUM. |
