INFO:

Hussein Al-Bishi was a Saudi defender, most famous as Saleh Al-Naima's partner in defence for club and country for most of the 80s. In contrast to the composed and intelligent Al-Naima, Al-Bishi was an all-action player. He was very offensive, rushing forward at every opportunity to join the attack. With his great stamina and fantastic pace, he could constantly bomb up the pitch and drive forward. He was a good dribbler too and combined with his speed he had no difficulty flying past 2 or 3 defenders at a time. While he wasn't as respected as a defender as Al-Naima, who mostly covered for his offensive runs, he was pretty good at intercepting passes and was difficult to overcome in 1-on-1 situations because of his speed. He was also pretty strong despite his short size. His main weaknesses were leaving holes behind him when he went forward, and he didn't excel in the air. Despite his forward runs he only scored one goal in his career, an excellent solo goal in the 1989 King's Cup final against rivals Al-Nassr. With the national team he earned 53 caps and won the 1984 Asian Cup as a starter, also being part of the squad that won the 1988 Asian Cup but not playing any games.

Here's a video showing his incredible pace and attacking runs:
