Legendary Torino captain and idol. He was midfielder, defensive and offensive also, but mainly taking defensive duties. The ultimate leader and fighter, real captain, very strong with good shot and pace, tenacious and excellent tackler, had solid technique as well. Growing up in the youth of Turin, after a season on loan to Varese in Serie C, began with the top shell 20 September 1959 in Turin Sambenedettese-(0-0), playing as a starter finished the season in Serie B with the promotion.
