Víctor Pacheco was one of the biggest young Colombian players in 90s, he made his debut when he was only 15, and he made a very regarded Atletico Junior team playing along with Carlos Valderrama, Ivan Valenciano, Miguel Guerrero and other great players. His career was in a big ascension until he decided went to play to Mexico in Atlante where his career got stuck and he never played again at the same level as the beginning of his career.
He used to be a quick player very agile and with an excellent dribbling, taking advantage of his eight he was very hard to stop. he was even compared by Colombian madia with Ronaldo, because he scored more than 5 goals as the same style than that famous Ronaldo goal against Compostela in 1996 playing for Barcelona.
Pacheco began his professional career with Junior, where he played several seasons before moving to Independiente Medellín. He also had a spell with Atlante in the Primera División de México.*
Pacheco has made 28 appearances for the senior Colombia national football team, including 10 qualifying matches for the FIFA World Cup. He also played at the 1992 Summer Olympics.*
Pacheco also played for Colombia at the 1989 FIFA U-16 World Championship.*
