Bolaños better known as "El Pibe" Bolaños, was a Ecuador footballer . He played as a midfielder or striker .*
Pibe Jorge Bolaños Carrasco is considered the second best player of all time Ecuadorian behind Alberto Spencer . At 13 he came to Emelec and in 1959 debuted in first with 15 years of age. In 1961 he was on loan to River Plate of Argentina , requested by Renato Cesarini , who saw in the 1962 World Cup Qualification . After playing a little over a year in the lower divisions of River Plate, Emelec again.*
In Emelec was until 1969 , there was part of Blue Ballet of the Five Wise Men which was three times winner of Guayaquil , twice in Ecuador and participated in four Copa Libertadores . Earlier, in 1963 was asked to test for AC Milan , but he refused because they wanted to go to trial, but who signed him immediately.*
In 1970 moved to America in Quito where he played another Copa Libertadores. That same year he was transferred to Barcelona of Guayaquil , where he was champion in 1970 and 1971 and played until 1976 . Cats then went to Miami, nine of October and Student Athletic League, where he retired in 1979.*
He played for the Ecuador national football team 22 times. His debut was on December 4 of 1960 against Argentina in Guayaquil in the matches of the World Cup Chile 1962 . His only goal it was to Colombia in the South American Bolivia in 1963.*
