One of the best ever Slovak player, Jozef Adamec famous with a hattrick againts Brasil and became the first player to score hattrick againts Brasil.
He was player with excellent technique, strong body, excellent left foot ,feared goalscorer because he can score from any angel and could well mislead body. Despite he was great scorer, he also had excellent passing ability.

In Czechoslovak league he played 383 matched and with 170 goals in 10th in Czechoslovakian all time topscorer. He was capped 44 times for Czechoslovak national team and scored 14 goals. He was participated at the 1962 and 1970 FIFA World Cup.
