INFO:
Juma'a is a former sweeper or centre back, capable of playing as left back. He spent his entire career at Al-Salmiya from 1972 to 1993. He played for Kuwait 101 times, scoring 4 goals, winning the 1980 AFC Asian Cup and taking part to the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Included in the Asian All Stars in 1982 and 1985, he's the only player from Kuwait who was part of that team twice.
One of Kuwaiti greatest ever defenders and one of the best in Asia at his time, Juma'a wasn't very strong but was capable in the defence as he possessed fine tackling ability and good anticipation either on the ground or in the air and could defend the ball from the attack of his opponent thanks to a very good technique. He was very careful and rarely made mistakes. A pure sweeper, he pushed forward a lot with solid speed and he was excellent at setting up the offense with fast short passes or pinpoint balls from his own half, sometimes even assisting a forward near the opposing box. He was probably the most technically gifted among the non-strikers in Kuwaiti squad. In fact, he could use both feet, he sometimes delivered passes with the outside and could dribble one or two opponents, occasionally even with nice tricks. He could be a threat for the goalkeeper due to a decent shot and heading ability. He even scored at least once from direct free kick.
