I agree about Astrada, he must be in this team.

This team should be updated completely or deleted. There's only one side back in whole team and 30 strikers..

I don't understand why Marcelo Gallardo is not even among the reserves here..

Rosso, you're clear to update this thread, just write down all the changes you did just for the sake of comparison.

I'm almost finish my job with this team, its tricky made changes for these teams, because can be controversial for some. There's palyers that spend not much time with us but they were so important for the team that would be disrespectful don't name them here, just like Pity Martinez.

JeanMarc give me some names that were blatantly forgetted here, that can earn a place.

Btw I see that Vaghi is highly rated in many XI's around, but I think that he can be replaced by Maidana, i'll post the team later.

Seriously, why should an average player like Maidana replace Vaghi? Vaghi spent all of his career at River Plate and was a crucial part of "La Maquina", his place in first team and best XI is absolutely indisputable..
But hey, why not replace Passarella with Pinola, Fillol with Armani, Labruna with Cavenaghi and Alonso with Quintero as well..

I knew that this change could arise this, but there's an explanation.

Vaghi it should be highly rated in our history, he spend so many years on the club and he's part of an historic team in Argentinian Football, but the problem comes when we compare how much Maidana won with us and his impact and those champion teams. Also no one here had seen Vaghi play, we don't have a visual idea of what he was or what he was capable to do. If you ask any River fan, even elder ones, would tell you that Maidana have reach highs in our history, almost imposible to reach.

I've seen Maidana play and this guy was/is simply average, no matter how many titles he won
And I don't give a fuck about this "never seen play" argument. If you want to use PSD arguments, then you should do that on their forum (not a problem for you since you have an account there) and not here..

Finally updated this team. Thanks to Milos, JeanMarc and MagicDip for the suggestions.

Alfredo Pérez is in reserves too, it should be deleted now that he is on the first team.

Coaches should be Marcelo Gallardo and Ángel Labruna. Ramón Díaz is a close third.
