Amos Mariani was right winger for various teams. Mariani was player with good speed, crosses and technique, solid with left foot as well and played even on the left wing sometimes. He had pretty weak shot, but accurate one especially from tight angles, possessed good dribbling skills and agility, and despite not being prolific scorer he had good instinct for goal, many times reacting well on lose balls and from mess in the box. Raised in Montecatini, debuted just seventeen in Serie B with the shirt of Empoli, in 1948, the year after he was bought by Juventus, who had it in Serie A debut Oct. 16, 1949, in Bergamo against Atalanta, it was exactly Atalanta whom the Turin club gave Mariani at the end of season 1949-50.
