Legendary Romanian player and later coach. Ladislau was excellent box to box midfielder, good destroyer and creator in midfield. He had great passing range, solid shot and good technique, with very important defensive contribution, running and fighting in midfield. Bölöni began playing football in 1967 at Chimica Tarnaveni, for whom he played just 16 games in the first years Divizia C. In 1970 he moved to AS Armata Targu Mures in the Divizia B, with which he ascended at the end of the season in the Divizia A. There he made his debut on 22 August 1971 at the match against Farul Constanta. Bölöni was instrumental in that ASA was able to qualify in the mid 1970s three times in a row for the UEFA Cup, even if the club was eliminated in each case there in the first round. In 1984 he moved to Steaua Bucharest, where he could celebrate his athletic achievements. In total he scored 86 goals in 484 games the Divizia A, and 3 goals in 21 European matches. In the winter break of 1987/88 season he won the release of foreign countries and moved to Racing Jet Brussels. He remained there for exactly one year before moving into the winter break 1988/89 second in the French League for the U.S. Creteil. In the summer of 1989 saw the last change to the U.S. Orléans, where in 1992 he finished his career with as a player.
