Barella is a centre or defensive midfielder, who can play also as attacking or side midfielder. His professional career began in 2014 at Cagliari, where he stayed until 2019, playing 112 matches and scoring 7 goals. He transferred to Inter in 2019, where he played 87 games and scored 8 goals so far. He won 29 caps for Italy, scoring 6 times and winning the 2020 UEFA Euro.
Possibly one of the best midfielders in the world, Barella is a complete player, gifted with great vision, passing ability, technique and dribbling. Dynamic and tenacious, he possesses good speed on short distances and excellent stamina. He fights on every ball, even though he's prone to commit fauls. In fact, he receives many cards. He helps equally in defence and attack, intercepting numerous balls and delivering them to a teammate with either a short or long pass, usually both equally accurate. He's also effective when running forward down the side before sending the ball to the box. He can be dangerous when shooting long range. At Cagliari he also took some penalties with success.

I only saw him playing for Inter but isn't his SA better than this? IMO he's shown quite decent placement in his goals against Fiorentina, Leverkusen or Verona, what's IMO the key to him beeing a danger from outside the box (since he doesn't have some extraordinary power in his shots).

The fact is that he scored 11 goals for Cagliari, six of them being from either penalty or free kick, the rest mostly from outside the box and for that I gave him ST 72 and Long Ranger. He surely improved his shooting ability at Inter. However if you think he deserves like 70 here, I can raise his SA, no problem.

Well IMO having 70 in SA would fit more to his shots and won't make him an unrealistic danger from distance.
But as I already said, I only saw him at Inter and noticed his strength in that aspect, so it's up to you to raise it or not
What surprises me is that you didn't add an Inter set as well, he certainly was one of their best players this year..
