Facundo Mura is a footballer who plays as a right-back. Born in General Roca, Río Negro (23/03/1999), he began his football career at C.A. Estudiantes de La Plata in 2019 in a derby against Gimnasia y Esgrima. As one of the main prospects from a province that doesn't usually produce successful footballers, in 2018 he was called up by Lionel Scaloni to play for the Argentine U-20 national team in the L'Alcudia Tournament, where they were crowned champions, and thanks to that, he also played in the 2019 U-20 World Cup, where they were eliminated in the round of 16. In 2021, he was loaned to C.A. Colón, alternating with wing-back Eric Meza. That same year, Mura won the Copa de la Liga with Colón, marking the club's first title in history, and he assisted in one of the goals in the final. In January 2022, after his loan ended, he was sold to Racing Club, where he won the Trofeo de Campeones and the Supercopa Internacional in his first year, being a starter in the latter.
