BalancedINFO:Gonzalo Piovi is an Argentine footballer who plays as a center-back and left-back. Born in Morón, Buenos Aires (09/08/1994), he made his professional debut on August 19, 2013, in a match against All Boys playing for Vélez Sarsfield. In 2015, he transferred to Argentinos Juniors. After good performances, he achieved promotion to the Primera División in 2017. In 2018, 65% of his transfer rights were acquired by Racing Club, making his debut in a 3-1 win against C.A. Lanús. In August 2018, he was loaned for a year without a purchase option to Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata. In July 2019, his arrival at Defensa y Justicia was made official on loan, due to the lack of consideration at Racing Club. In 2020, he moved to Colón, also on loan, and won the Copa de la Liga Profesional 2021, the club's first title in history, after defeating Racing Club 3-0 in the final. In 2022, in his second stint with Racing, he established himself in the starting eleven, playing particularly as a left-back. There, he would win the Trofeo de Campeones and the Supercopa Internacional (scoring a penalty goal to give Racing the title) and finish as runner-up in the Primera División. At the end of 2023, he signed for Cruz Azul, in Mexico, marking his first international experience, and returning to play as a central defender.
