Defence-MindedINFO:Ignacio Chicco is an Argentine footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Born in Brinkmann, Córdoba (30/06/1996), he arrived at C.A. Colón aged 13 from C.S.D. Brinkmann, his local club. In 2016, then-manager Darío Franco promoted him to the senior team for the first time, but due to a lack of opportunities, he was loaned to C.A. Talleres. He made his professional debut on September 29th, 2019, in the Copa Sudamericana quarterfinals against Zulia F.C. from Venezuela, making a crucial mistake that cost Colón the game. Chicco was part of the team that won the 2021 Copa de la Liga, the first title in the team's history, but ultimately did not play any games. Just weeks after winning the Cup, coach Eduardo Domínguez gave Chicco the starting spot as the team's goalkeeper, with good performances. Despite his usual mistakes, he was one of the team's best players throughout the whole of 2022, but his form declined in 2023, coinciding with the team's relegation to the Second Division. Since 2024, he has played for C.A. Belgrano.
