INFO:His play was easier, his class was in simplicity and almost all of his goals were the decisive ones (not rare for him to score from 30-35m). A magnificent blow, lack of fear, selflessness, artistry, these were the main features of Gennady Logofet as a football player. Distinguished by rigidity, in Spartak of the 60s he was a real tough guy. At the same time, he remained a very technical player: he could, for example, perform a “rainbow” right in the game - throw the ball over his head with his heel on the move. He knew how to create a fighting mood in the team, leading it with him in crucial moments of the game. He would take penalties as well (although it was because it was considered that married men at the time would be much calmer in taking penalties). Logofet played full 15 years for Spartak Moscow, being the captain from 1971 to 1974, third place in Spartak history in terms of the number of matches played!
2-time champion of the USSR: 1962, 1969. 3-time winner of the USSR Cup: 1963, 1965, 1971. Not only for his fighting qualities, but also for his versatility (the Spartak player could play both as a right-back and in midfield), he was regularly invited to the USSR national team. Member of the 1968 European Championship. Member of the 1970 World Cup. He played 17 matches for the USSR national team. Played 2 matches for the USSR Olympic team.
